What is the role?
We have created this new key role within the ITG team of BNP Paribas Romania Branch to act as a bridge between the departments of the recently opened and fast-growing Shared Service Centre (SSC).
We are looking for a candidate who represents ITG towards the other partners and exchanges information on all topics to ensure smooth communication with the key stakeholders.
The Head of Office is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and management of the office, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, and contributing to the overall success of the organization and will report to the Head of ITG in BNPP Romania Branch.
The Head of Office will have the following responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders, and Head of ITG regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning

Finance related tasks:
- Assisting the SSC management in controlling their costs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- There is potential to extend support to other shared activities in other countries within the CEE region in the future
- Maintain a strong dialogue with the SSC management on all financial topics including tax
- Support the SSC budgeting process
- Analyze and work together with SSC and Finance EMEA Platform in finding the proper allocation of different types of costs
- Contribute to the appropriate cost center and monitoring structure
- Active contribution to the preparation of various ad hoc reports and investigations to the SSC management
- Participate actively in various projects related to SSC development
Operational Permanent Control related tasks:
- Contributes to performing the monitoring of control execution of operations and Shared Service Teams
- Active support of the preparation of Internal Control Committees of the region
- Actively participate in the Group driven Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise for the ITG function and other SSC activities
- Active contribution to the policies and procedures for the SSC activities
- Liaise actively with CE Region OPC team members, BNP Paribas branches’ stakeholders and Head Office colleagues, subject matter experts.
What qualities do we look for?

- Identifier et planifier les évolutions fonctionnelles nécessaires afin de garantir la couverture des scans (toutes les Assets) ainsi que la couverture en termes de technologies.
- Suivi de la conformité de sécurité (PingCastle / …)
Maintien en condition opérationnelle:
- Garantir le maintien en condition opérationnelle des outils supportant le dispositif de scans à travers la gestion des incidents de production (réaliser les LCM correspondants ainsi que le patching sécurité des outils gérés par l’équipe).
- Formaliser et maintenir la documentation supportant l’activité (Procédures, Procédures opérationnelles, Guides, ICPlan, …).
- Dans le cadre de Gap identifiés liés à la couverture de scan ; mettre en place les remédiations correspondantes afin de garantir une couverture exhaustive OnPremise, DMZR et/ou IT Cloud.
- Dans le cadre de Gap identifiés à la suite des évolutions technologiques des assets scannés ; mettre en place les évolutions correspondantes afin de garantir une couverture exhaustive des assets OnPremise, DMZR et/ou IT Cloud. Mener les études techniques et réaliser les prototypes (POC) afin de valider les évolutions mises en place.
Accompagnement et suivi des remédiations:
- Organiser l’activité en se positionnant comme point central et moteur du suivi des remédiations.
- Assurer le lien avec la filière Sécurité des entités métiers, suivre et gérer la formation de ces cellules et enfin, communiquer/mettre en oeuvre les bonnes pratiques
- Organiser le suivi des remédiations en conformité avec nos procédures. We are looking for a Permanent Control Officer to join our Finance Department and perform permanent control activities as the 1st level of defense (1LOD) in accordance with Group requirements.

MISSION:
In order to mitigate operational risks within BNP Paribas’ branches operating in CE (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania), a Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer physically present in Romania, in BNP Paribas Romanian Branch (in its Bucharest Office).
The role is reporting to CE Head of Operational Permanent Control and Outsourcing Coordination.
The Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer is responsible for mitigation of operational risks within the 1st line of defense (LOD1) by the following activities:
- Design and maintenance of Local Control Plan
- Monitoring of control execution of the entire Local Control Plans
- Liasing with OPC Center of Expertise Portugal or other Centers of Expertises on OPC matters.
- Following the Group methodologies, if applicable with OPC Center of Expertise PT, performing annual Risk Control Self Assessment exercise
- In cooperation with OPC CE, OPC Center of Expertise PT, LOD1 and LOD2 functions, prepare and steer the branches’ Internal Control Committees

With the support and supervision of the CE Head of OPC and Outsourcing Coordination, the Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer will be responsible for:
- Coordinate with OPC Center of Expertise PT and LOD1 functions to, perform and document controls related of BNPP CE branches – following Group methodologies
- Contribute to the monitoring of control execution of operations, LOD 1 functions and Centers of Expertises
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports designated for operations and regional management teams
- Active support of the preparation of Internal Control Committees of the region
- Actively participate in the Group driven Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise for CE Region
- Contribute to the maintenance of the branches’ Local Control Plans
- Management of policies and procedures
- Liaising with other involved stakeholders, OPC Center of Expertise (if applicable) investigate the root cause, propose remediation actions and report in Group tools incidents related to business (CIB) activities, but if necessary also to other incidents.
- Defines and proposes remediation actions in case deficiencies in the processes. Reports these cases to all required stakeholders (e.g. process owners, management).
- Reports the incidents identified (including fraud) into relevant Group tools, and follows up on remediation actions. Liaise actively with OPC team members, BNP Paribas branches’ stakeholders and Head Office colleagues, subject matter experts.
- Management, monitoring and administration of local procedures and non-procedures (MyProcedures tool).
- Coordinates the EMEA regulatory interaction reporting exercise by collecting and registering regulatory interactions from in-scope entities to the Group reporting tool.
COMPETENCES:
As a Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer, we expect very good knowledge in the following areas:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
- 5+ years of professional experience in banking / financial industry sector.
- Experience or good oversight in Asset-Liability Management processes, or internal audit is a very strong advantage.

We are looking for a French-speaking Manual & Automation Testing Engineer to join our fast-growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will focus on both manual and automation testing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end testing of the user stories developed within the squad
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and at the creation of user stories
- Define different test strategies for manual, automated, and APIs
- Meet the quality of the user story and of the acceptance criteria
- Set up and maintain the test repository: test plan, test cases, test data
- Prioritize and execute the test campaigns
- Produce reporting for test progress and closure
- Defect Management and Reporting using Jira, ALM Octane, or similar tools
- Automate the test cases eligible for automation
- Create and execute load test scenarios
- Implement regression testing
- Gain an understanding of the business context and technical environment
What we are looking for:
- Advanced French level, written and spoken
- Experience in automation testing, working with Java / Selenium / Cucumber / API testing / Gherkin
- Strong experience in manual testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect management
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems (Jira, ALM Octane)
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Ability to learn and understand complex business flows and application functionality
- The ability to research and gather information from different stakeholders and developers
- Good planning, organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate efficient with the team (business, developers, POs)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- ISTQB certification would be a plus
- Experience in banking projects
