What is the role?

We have created this new key role within the ITG team of BNP Paribas Romania Branch to act as a bridge between the departments of the recently opened and fast-growing Shared Service Centre (SSC).

We are looking for a candidate who represents ITG towards the other partners and exchanges information on all topics to ensure smooth communication with the key stakeholders.

The Head of Office is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and management of the office, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, and contributing to the overall success of the organization and will report to the Head of ITG in BNPP Romania Branch.

The Head of Office will have the following responsibilities:

Serve as liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders, and Head of ITG regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning
Oversee daily operations in collaboration with senior managers and department leaders, and perform administrative tasks such as planning and coordinating annual corporate meetings or scheduling facilities
Develop and build relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with Head of ITG and other executives on special projects
Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications
Implement and manage the service-specific tasks, in alignment with the strategic objectives of the department and division, to achieve company goals.
Ensure all associated activities are conducted in accordance with organizational policies, processes and standards.
Anticipate and lead necessary changes according to the Company’s strategy and division objectives, while ensuring the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the service and managing associated risks and issues
Stimulate teams by setting, managing and monitoring activities associated to the individual objective setting and performance indicators, by means of regular dialogue with staff members and by capturing and cascading relevant aspects of objectives to the team
Monitor and improve the team structure and processes to drive efficiency
Ensure the team is adaptive to continued growth
Manage risks, implementation and monitoring of quality assurance

Finance related tasks:

Assisting the SSC management in controlling their costs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
There is potential to extend support to other shared activities in other countries within the CEE region in the future
Maintain a strong dialogue with the SSC management on all financial topics including tax
Support the SSC budgeting process
Analyze and work together with SSC and Finance EMEA Platform in finding the proper allocation of different types of costs
Contribute to the appropriate cost center and monitoring structure
Active contribution to the preparation of various ad hoc reports and investigations to the SSC management
Participate actively in various projects related to SSC development

Operational Permanent Control related tasks:

Contributes to performing the monitoring of control execution of operations and Shared Service Teams
Active support of the preparation of Internal Control Committees of the region
Actively participate in the Group driven Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise for the ITG function and other SSC activities
Active contribution to the policies and procedures for the SSC activities
Liaise actively with CE Region OPC team members, BNP Paribas branches’ stakeholders and Head Office colleagues, subject matter experts.

What qualities do we look for?

As a Head of Office, we expect very good knowledge in the following areas:

Seven or more years of experience in business management or executive role
Strong background in Finance with a good ability to articulate and communicate both in writing and verbally with non-Finance people
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration, finance or similar field

En tant qu’Ingénieur Sécurité Opérationnelle, vous serez membre du Squad « Vulnerability Management & Follow-up » vous aurez pour objectif de :

Contrôler la conformité et le respect des standards sécurité à travers la préparation, l’exécution et l’exploitation des scans de vulnérabilités ;
Présenter les vulnérabilités détectées (les nouvelles, les prochaines arrivées à échéance) et suivre leurs remédiations avec vos interlocuteurs dans les différentes Tribes;
Contrôler les configurations et les patchs sécurité que les domaines techniques IPS implémentent (APS et non-APS);
Réaliser et publier les indicateurs de sécurité ;

Veille technologique et suivi de l’évolution du cadre normatif :

Se tenir informé de l’évolution du cadre normatif à travers l’évolution des exigences de sécurité publiées par CDF Groupe et/ou demandées par le CISO BGL. Mettre en avant les GAP identifiés proposer un plan de convergence (y compris les évolutions des indicateurs de sécurité opérationnelles).
Identifier et planifier les évolutions technologiques nécessaires (« Life Cycle management », Patching sécurité) des outils du dispositif supportant les scans de vulnérabilités/non-conformité BGL.
Identifier et planifier les évolutions fonctionnelles nécessaires afin de garantir la couverture des scans (toutes les Assets) ainsi que la couverture en termes de technologies.
Suivi de la conformité de sécurité (PingCastle / …)

Maintien en condition opérationnelle:

Garantir le maintien en condition opérationnelle des outils supportant le dispositif de scans à travers la gestion des incidents de production (réaliser les LCM correspondants ainsi que le patching sécurité des outils gérés par l’équipe).
Formaliser et maintenir la documentation supportant l’activité (Procédures, Procédures opérationnelles, Guides, ICPlan, …).
Dans le cadre de Gap identifiés liés à la couverture de scan ; mettre en place les remédiations correspondantes afin de garantir une couverture exhaustive OnPremise, DMZR et/ou IT Cloud.
Dans le cadre de Gap identifiés à la suite des évolutions technologiques des assets scannés ; mettre en place les évolutions correspondantes afin de garantir une couverture exhaustive des assets OnPremise, DMZR et/ou IT Cloud. Mener les études techniques et réaliser les prototypes (POC) afin de valider les évolutions mises en place.

Accompagnement et suivi des remédiations:

Organiser l’activité en se positionnant comme point central et moteur du suivi des remédiations.
Assurer le lien avec la filière Sécurité des entités métiers, suivre et gérer la formation de ces cellules et enfin, communiquer/mettre en oeuvre les bonnes pratiques
Organiser le suivi des remédiations en conformité avec nos procédures. Identifier pour chacune des vulnérabilités détectées, les équipes owner des remédiations, présenter la « préconisation de remédiation » ainsi que les SLAs attendus. Réaliser le suivi à travers une vision formalisée en « Plan d’actions » permettant d’identifier l’owner, l’action, la date d’exécution et l’avancement, …. Identifier les risques de non-réalisation et remonter les déviations le plus en amont possible du processus.
Faire le liant avec les équipes IT Risque Management (ITRM) dans le cadre des demandes de mises en exception. Réaliser l’analyse « Sécurité » et validant les impacts « Sécurité » de son activation.

Reporting :

Produire et suivre les indicateurs de sécurité opérationnelle définis en tenant compte des indicateurs Locaux et Groupe.

We are looking for a Permanent Control Officer to join our Finance Department and perform permanent control activities as the 1st level of defense (1LOD) in accordance with Group requirements.

MISSION:

In order to mitigate operational risks within BNP Paribas’ branches operating in CE (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania), a Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer physically present in Romania, in BNP Paribas Romanian Branch (in its Bucharest Office).

The role is reporting to CE Head of Operational Permanent Control and Outsourcing Coordination.

The Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer is responsible for mitigation of operational risks within the 1st line of defense (LOD1) by the following activities:

Design and maintenance of Local Control Plan
Monitoring of control execution of the entire Local Control Plans
Liasing with OPC Center of Expertise Portugal or other Centers of Expertises on OPC matters.
Following the Group methodologies, if applicable with OPC Center of Expertise PT, performing annual Risk Control Self Assessment exercise
In cooperation with OPC CE, OPC Center of Expertise PT, LOD1 and LOD2 functions, prepare and steer the branches’ Internal Control Committees
Provide support in external and internal audit missions, follow-up of recommendations
Cascade group policies into local practices.

With the support and supervision of the CE Head of OPC and Outsourcing Coordination, the Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer will be responsible for:

Coordinate with OPC Center of Expertise PT and LOD1 functions to, perform and document controls related of BNPP CE branches – following Group methodologies
Contribute to the monitoring of control execution of operations, LOD 1 functions and Centers of Expertises
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports designated for operations and regional management teams
Active support of the preparation of Internal Control Committees of the region
Actively participate in the Group driven Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise for CE Region
Contribute to the maintenance of the branches’ Local Control Plans
Management of policies and procedures
Liaising with other involved stakeholders, OPC Center of Expertise (if applicable) investigate the root cause, propose remediation actions and report in Group tools incidents related to business (CIB) activities, but if necessary also to other incidents.
Defines and proposes remediation actions in case deficiencies in the processes. Reports these cases to all required stakeholders (e.g. process owners, management).
Reports the incidents identified (including fraud) into relevant Group tools, and follows up on remediation actions. Liaise actively with OPC team members, BNP Paribas branches’ stakeholders and Head Office colleagues, subject matter experts.
Management, monitoring and administration of local procedures and non-procedures (MyProcedures tool).
Coordinates the EMEA regulatory interaction reporting exercise by collecting and registering regulatory interactions from in-scope entities to the Group reporting tool.

COMPETENCES:

As a Regional Operational Permanent Control Officer, we expect very good knowledge in the following areas:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
5+ years of professional experience in banking / financial industry sector.
Experience or good oversight in Asset-Liability Management processes, or internal audit is a very strong advantage.
Good approach in investigating the details, and ability to have overall view of matters at hand.
Ability to handle complexity, work in a team and individually.
Languages (level): Fluent in English and Romanian. Another language – an advantage.
Advanced knowledge and command of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Data analysis skills are an advantage.

Would you like to join our international teams that deliver applications to businesses of BNP Paribas Group entities around the world? We are looking for a Java Developer colleague to join our team working together with colleagues from France.

Your role is to develop software applications according to the business needs being involved in all phases of SDLC based on the Agile framework.

Key responsibilities:

Plan, develop and implement projects or features of large-scale projects, as part of the development team
Develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems
Assisting in Production issues
Share knowledge about your area of expertise, best practices and provide functional support

What we are looking for:

Experience:

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Java technologies, with expertise in Cloud-oriented design & development

Backend:

Java Standard Edition (17 or newer)
Spring Boot
Relational database: Oracle DB / PostgreSQL
Web services: REST API
Elastic Search
Kafka, event-driven architecture
Microservices, Hexagonal architecture, DDD
Design patterns, SOLID principles
Unit & integration testing

Frontend:

Angular, JEST

Cloud:

Docker, Kubernetes

Others:

CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins / Gitlab CI / SonarQube)
GIT, Maven
Tools: Postman, SoapUI, Bruno
Linux: Basic knowledge (regular user & root)

Although not required, would be considered a plus if you have knowledge about:

NoSQL database: MongoDB
Authorization & authentication protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC
SAST / DAST / SCA (Fortify, Sonatype IQ server, SonarQube)
Web services: SOAP API
Test automation (Selenium, Cucumber)
