The Territory IT Proximity Support is an onsite technical support from a specialized support agent to help resolve technical issues. The proximity support is triggered primarily when the L1 remote support is not able to fix incidents remotely or when delivery of a request needs a local action. These actions include hardware and workplace related issues like repairing a desktop, replacing a spare part, etc. In some cases, the proximity support agent might take devices or gadgets back to the manufacturer or provider for repair. Furthermore, the proximity support will keep the asset inventories up to date.

What is the role? 
As an Oracle DBA Engineer, we expect very good knowledge in the following areas:
    • Administration of Oracle databases (mainly Oracle 12.1 and 19)
    • Good practical skills related to: o Linux, UNIX based administration skills 
    • Expertise on: 

    • 11g, 12c and 19c database versions Oracle enterprise Manager
    • Exadata expertise on High Availability environments
    • RMAN
    • Oracle ASM 
    • Oracle RAC 
    • Data guard 
    • Database tunning 
    • Linux Scripting: Python, Shell 

  • Automation skills (ansible, python, shell scripts, bash…) 
  • Delphix (database duplication & masking) 
Nice to have: 
  • Multitenant environments 
  • Golden Gate 
  • Team and collaborative working to develop and deliver appropriate solutions skills 
  • Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines 
  • Customer service-oriented skillsITIL Foundation knowledge will be desirable
